1969 CORVETTE STINGRAY COUPE 427/435 HP 4 SPEED CAR
What says American Muscle more than a Corvette? With all due respect to Mustang, Camaro and Chevelle guys, the Corvette is Americas first built high performance car and will never be surpassed.
General Motors made extreme styling changes starting in 1968 going to the “shark” styled body of the C3 with many chinks in the armor. For '69 a new door entry handle was introduced that eliminated the push button and hand flap from 1968. Instead, the release mechanism was incorporated into the hand flap, a very futuristic design for it’s day! The passenger compartment was widened by one inch. This was accomplished by shrinking the thickness of the door panels. Also, air induction was improved to help alleviate the car’s proneness to overheating. The passenger side of the dash received three little pockets that came to be known as “map pockets”. Buyers still had the choice of no fewer than six engine / transmission combinations. Wheels were widened to 8 inches and tires were still of bias ply construction. The base motor was now a 350 and 1969 was the last year for the three speed manual transmission. This awesome Fathom Green C3 was born with the ever popular 427/435 HP Big Block and three 2 Barrel Carbs popularly known as the “Tri-Power”. She one of the most fully documented cars that we have ever laid eyes on coming with mounds of paperwork proving it’s “numbers matching” pedigree. Documentation that is present with the car includes the Original Window Sticker, Original Build Sheet, Protecto Plate, Owners Manual, Original cleared check from the original owner and complete owner traceability up to it’s third owner of today. This is a paper trail that most owners of these cars would die for.
The car has only been thru one repaint in 1992 and is high end driver quality at the least. There is many other documents proving the care that was provided in maintaining this Beast and all the original parts have been kept to go along with the sale. The engine was put thru a professional engine rebuild that is fully documented along with many other maintenance receipts. The black interior shows very well with just a few small blemishes that are very common on these cars when driven. A small amount of wear can be seen on the drivers side seat and a few small blemishes. This “no hit” car has never been wrecked and the exterior body and paint are in very good shape with just a few blemishes. Being out on the road enjoying this car without worrying about rock chipping a show stopping, trailer queen paint job will not fill the back of your mind while also making you proud driving down the street.

The car is a legitimate time capsule and has very low miles with the odometer barely tipping over 46,000. The fiber optics system still is in fully functional condition with only a few optional repairs needed to enjoy all of her ordered with capabilities. This is a highly sought after investment level car that can also be enjoyed and driven while always having the assurance that one day when it’s time to give her to another owner, you will definitely be sticking more money in your pocket than when you purchased it.
