Unfortunately, I do not have a build sheet for this car. However, I do have some unique documentation that confirms the cars origin and authenticity. Two newspaper ads from August and September of 1970 that clearly state the car's VIN and options. Ads are included in the pictures. A very special thanks to Don at1970chargerregistry.com for providing that valuable documentation.
Also included with the pictures is an appraisal by Legendary Motorcar from 2008 when I bought the car.
Originally a California car sold by Pomona Dodge in the fall of 1970, car has original floors and trunk. The body was restored 10 years ago by the previous owner, including new rear quarters, and the paint and chrome still show very well. Absolutely no dents, rust or pitting! Overall, very straight and clean. Read the comments on the paint quality in the appraisal by Legendary. Still true today. Car has been stored in a heated garage, and never driven in the rain.
In June of 2015, engine was completely overhauled by Active Engines in Mississauga, Ontario. Too many new parts to mention here, but all receipts are available for prospective buyers. Differential and transmission were also overhauled. Basically, every mechanical component has been restored, overhauled, replaced, or upgraded. Five new Goodyear tires were also installed, and have just over 1000 miles on them.
This is a beautiful car with the right motor, the right transmission, and the right color. And of course, numbers matching. Not many of these around, and it won't last long. Call (402) 502-8385 for more information.
