Exclusive Ratcheting Manual Tilt Clamp Bracket
The Mercury exclusive ratcheting manual tilt clamp bracket features 6 trim and tilt positions and a full tilt lock. Simply push down on the tiller handle or pull back on the top cowl to raise and lower the outboard. This system ratchets and hold position automatically. Tilt all the way up to reset the angle back to the down position. Full down position can be selected with one of three memory locks.
9.9hp models are available with power tilt, which will automatically tilt the outboard up and down with the push of a button.

The multi-function tiller handle allows anglers to shift gears and control throttle with one hand by simply twisting the grip. The tiller handle also features a convenient stop button at the end of the grip and a safety lanyard stop switch with cord attachment. The throttle friction adjustment allows anglers to better fine-tune and hold trolling speeds. Use the tiller handle to trim or tilt the outboard quickly and easily, made possible with the ratcheting clamp bracket.
