The striking look of the next generation Yamaha XSR900 is apparent from every angle. With the tank design, exposed aluminum frame and side silhouette drawing clear inspiration from iconic Yamaha race bikes of the past, there is also an unmistakably modern design element underscoring the machine's high-performance capabilities. Full LED lighting, new full-color five-inch TFT display and a host of premium touches including drilled fork caps, machined headlight stays, forged brake pedal, hidden passenger pegs, blacked-out levers, darkened brake reservoirs, bar-end mirrors, embossed aluminum rear underplate and aluminum XSR logo all combine to reflect modernity and a high level of fit and finish.

• New Five-Inch TFT

A new five-inch full-color TFT display provides the rider with the option of four different themes to suit specific riding situations or individual preference, including a XSR-exclusive theme featuring an analog-style tachometer. The new display is navigated through all-new integrated handlebar switches.

• New Third-Generation Quickshifter

The 2025 XSR900 is equipped with Yamaha's new third-generation Quick Shift System (QSS), now enabling quick, clutchless upshifts and downshifts under both acceleration and deceleration. This system makes full-on acceleration more exciting and downshifting faster and smoother with less chassis disruption when changing gears. When a sensor on the shift rod detects movement in the gearshift pedal, adjustments are made in the engine output according to ECU calculations to instantly cancel out the drive torque of the engaged gear to promote swifter shifting of gears.

• ENGINE

Renowned 890cc liquid-cooled crossplane CP3 engine provides broad, torquey power and a thrilling, unique engine note.

Lightweight forged pistons allow for smooth, high-revving power.

• ELECTRONICS

Three-level Slide Control System (SCS) detects lateral slides and adjusts power delivery to control cornering attitude.

• CHASSIS/SUSPENSION

A box-section aluminum swingarm extends the wheelbase to augment straight-line stability.

High-spec fully adjustable 41mm KYB® inverted front fork is tuned for balanced overall handling performance.
