This DOHC 4-stroke engine boasts a strong low- and mid-range, with exhilarating top-end pulling power. Power delivery is smooth and throttle response is crisp throughout the rpm range making this the ideal machine for a variety of riding situations. For added comfort especially in heavy traffic, the innovative radiator fan directs hot air down and away from the rider, improving rider comfort. Long-travel suspension is trail-tuned and offers 10 in of travel up front and 9.1 in in the rear. The 43mm inverted cartridge-style front fork has adjustable compression damping to optimize fork performance for conditions and personal preference. The Uni-Trak® rear suspension offers bump absorption, compression and rebound damping adjustability, and fully adjustable preload, allowing riders to tailor shock settings to personal preference. Substantial braking power comes from a powerful 250mm petal disc and twin-piston caliper up front and a 240mm petal disc and single-piston caliper in the rear.
