Powered by an 847cc DOHC eight-valve parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crossplane crankshaft design and lightweight internals including forged pistons and connecting rods, the Wolverine X2 850 XT-R shares technology with Yamaha's class-defining sportbikes for linear torque development and excellent power throughout the rpm range.

Reliable Ultramatic Transmission

Yamaha's Ultramatic transmission is the most advanced and durable CVT drive system available.
