The Cal 39 is a true classic. She sails well, especially to weather. She looks great and has a well laid out interior.

Known for being a sweet sailing boat, the Cal 39 is especially weatherly and handles w Valkyrie ell in open water. Its powerful hull can carry sail in a blow and still perform well, even when fully loaded for cruising.

It is highly regarded as a true racer/cruiser that blends solid performance with comfortable accommodations, making it an excellent choice for offshore passage-making.

Accommodations

Three cabin layout. Forward, there is a large vee berth with filler. The overhead hatch is new and cushions are new. Next aft is the head compartment to port. Opposite, there is a hanging locker. The main salon is laid out with a U-shaped settee to port with table and starboard settee opposite. The galley, with new stove and countertop, is aft to starboard. Opposite is the aft cabin with adjoining head. There is varnished teak trim throughout.
