Owner says-Engine was serviced in 2025. The boat was recently surveyed and the only concern noted was moisture in the rudder.

For picking up the boat, the launching of the boat was already paid for.

The labor involved in putting the parts back for seaworthy (ie. mast) will need to be covered by a new owner.

It has a tall rig and stainless-steel cables, hydraulics etc.

The Marina will charge 2-3k of labor to put back up.

It has a deep draft and can't easily be transported by land unless the height is taken down.

The C&C 38 MkIII is a renowned racer/cruiser designed by Rob Ball and built by C&C Yachts. It is prized for its blend of performance, comfort, and classic lines, and features a spacious interior and excellent sailing characteristics.

EPIPHANY was built in 1986 and was designed primarily for a combination of coastal and offshore sailing. The comfortable and well-appointed interior provides overnight accommodation for up to seven people and has ample storage for long trips. All cushions are in excellent condition and the head and galley are serviced by a 12 volt pressure pump and a hot water tank, which can be heated with 110V AC or by circulating hot water from the engine.

EPIPHANY has been yard maintained at Dodson Boat Yard, which is recognized as one of the best yards on the East Coast, and has benefitted from several upgrades over the past few years, including:

• New Fully Batten Main Sail.

• New 135% Genoa.

• Rebuilt Yanmar gearbox.

• All New Life Lines.

• New Ritchie pedestal compass.

• Several new control lines and halyards.

• Hydraulic vang and backstay rebuilt in 2015.

· All vehicles sold through our auctions are generous donations made to our charity. These vehicles are presented for sale based on the information and images provided by the donors.

· Discrepancy Reporting: In the event that a buyer or his agent discovers a major discrepancy between the auction listing and the actual vehicle at the time of pickup, we urge the buyer not to pick up the vehicle. Instead, please take pictures and promptly contact us via eBay.

· Inspection and Acceptance: Once the buyer or their authorized agent takes possession of the vehicle, no allowances will be made for any defects or damage. It is the responsibility of the buyers or his agent to thoroughly inspect and accept the vehicle in its current state.

· "As Is" with "No Warranty": Please be aware that all vehicles are sold "As Is" with absolutely no warranty. Buyers should understand that they are acquiring the vehicle in its current condition.

· No Legal Recourse: Buyers acknowledge that there will be no legal recourse available to them should they discover any defects in the vehicle after it has been picked up.

· Ask Questions Before Bidding: To ensure you have a clear understanding of the vehicle's condition, we strongly recommend that buyers ask any questions they may have about an item before placing a bid, response provided within 24 hours.

· Binding Contract: Placing a bid on an item is a commitment and constitutes a binding contract. By bidding, the buyer commits to purchasing the item should they win the auction.

· Non-Paying Winners: In the interest of maintaining the integrity of our auction process, non-paying winners will be reported to eBay. This underscores the importance of fulfilling your commitment to purchase.

· Payment and Pickup: Payment for vehicles must be made within 48 hours of the auction's conclusion. Furthermore, buyers are required to pick up the vehicle within 10 days after the auction's end, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed to before the auction ends.

· Shipping: Please note that we do not provide shipping services.

· Payment Processing: Be aware that payment may take 24 to 48 hours to clear. After payment clears, buyer will receive pick up instructions. Buyers are required to schedule an appointment for vehicle pickup.

Vehicle Sold "AS-IS": This vehicle is being sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed, written, or implied , regarding the condition or performance of the vehicle.
Description and Authenticity: The Seller shall not be responsible for the correctness of the description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects of the vehicle. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and should not be construed as a warranty of any kind.
No Allowance for Imperfections: The Seller will not make any allowance or compensation on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect, or damage found in the vehicle. Buyers should be aware that they are purchasing the vehicle in its current condition.

No Allowance After Pickup: Once the buyer or their authorized agent picks up the vehicle, no allowance will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect, or damage. It is crucial for buyers to carefully inspect and accept the vehicle in its current state.

These terms are intended to make it clear that the vehicle is sold without any warranties, and buyers are responsible for evaluating the vehicle's condition themselves before completing the purchase.

Buyer's Responsibility: The Buyer is solely responsible for the pickup of the purchased vehicle within 10 days following the close of the auction.
Transaction Cancellation: If the vehicle is not picked up within the specified 10-day period, the Seller reserves the right to cancel the transaction. In such a case, the Buyer will receive a refund minus a $75 relist and restocking fee.
Scheduling Pick-Up: The Buyer must schedule an appointment to pick up the vehicle. Access to the yard or the vehicle will not be granted until the full payment has been received and cleared.
No Shipping: Please note that the Seller does not provide shipping services. All transactions are based on local pick-up only.
