This Mach 1 is a VERY clean example. It is currently wearing a beautiful single high end repaint in a gorgeous metallic blue. Hailing from dry & sunny eastern Oregon, where it lived in a garage since 1978, this pony is still wearing its original floors, quarters, frame rails & trunk pan that are still in great shape. Reported to have only 69k original miles, this Mach 1 is one of the nicest 'unrestored' Mustangs of this vintage we have seen. This appears to be the original interior right down to the carpet. The engine & transmission show no signs of ever being removed. There is obviously some grease and road grime but upon inspection the factory shift boots & seals are still in place. The heat shield on the exhaust manifold is still in place. The reverse lock-out and seat belt buzzer function properly (cool & impressive annoying option). The factory tachometer works well and the Air Conditioning even works though the charge is a bit low. The trunk still houses the original jack, wrench and space saver spare tire!
