The Story
u 24 year owned by current vendor, purchased at the Kruse International Collector Car Auction in Fort Lauderdale, FL on January 9th, 1999.
Delivered immediately to the storied restoration shops at Shelton Sports Cars (the largest factory authorized Ferrari dealer in North America) for a full mechanical and a sympathetic cosmetic restoration. Completed in November of 1999.
Driven to and first shown at the 1999 Daytona Turkey Run at Daytona International Speedway.
Has been stored and garaged in a temperature and humidity controlled environment since purchase.
Manufacturers plate indicates the vehicles was built and assembled at the Ford Motor Co. plant in Las Angeles, CA
When the vehicle was purchased, it had a State of Texas DMV inspection sticker dated late 1990’s. Believed to have been a southwestern US car since new until purchased by the current owner.
This car has been shown at various rod and custom shows and gatherings around the State of Florida including 5 consecutive Daytona Turkey Runs as well as Good Guys events in Orlando and Tampa and locally in South Florida. Always driven to and from events.
True mileage is unknown. The odometer is not compatible with the transmission.
This is a rock-solid car with no known crash repairs or rust
