This 1948 Ford Coupe is a stunning older restoration and mild custom, owned by the same family for 30 years and always kept in a climate-controlled shop. It’s powered by a rebuilt 100HP, 239 cubic inch flathead V-8 engine paired with a 3-speed manual transmission, both of which have been rebuilt and run smoothly. The car retains its original drivetrain and has been converted to a reliable 12-volt system with a Delco alternator. With less than 500 miles driven since key components were rebuilt, this classic boasts new Coker Classic wide whitewall radial tires installed on 15" rims, a fully reupholstered cloth interior, and no known rust. Recent maintenance includes a transmission rebuild (Aug. '13), engine rebuild with new starter and water pumps (Jan. '14), brake rebuild (Dec. '15), and re-packing of all wheel bearings (Jan. '23). Receipts for all the work are on hand, and this beautifully preserved Coupe is ready for its next adventure. Odometer shows 4,800 miles, though the total mileage is unknown. A true collector’s piece!
