1972 BSA Rocket Three A75R
This 1972 BSA Rocket Three is a well-cared-for, numbers-matching MK2 model from BSA’s final production year, featuring the distinctive chrome tank and updated styling. Known as the first British superbike, it runs well with a Boyer ignition and freshly ultrasonic-cleaned carbs. Top end was refreshed in 2021 with new pistons, rings, valves and guides. New tires, paint and recovered seat were also done at this time. The owner can no longer ride and is looking to find a good home for this rare machine. Only 5,869 Rocket 3s were produced between 1968 and 1972, with just 533 built for the 1972 model year. This particular bike carries engine number KG00365, confirming it was manufactured in September for the 1972 model year. A rare opportunity to own a piece of British motorcycle history.
