In 2000, Liberty was purchased by her current owners in St. Helens, Oregon, where she had been under covered moorage. They trucked her to Olympia, Washington, and brought her to her current home on the Seattle Ship Canal, where she has remained under covered moorage in fresh water for the past 24 years. This careful stewardship has preserved her condition, and she has been regularly hauled and maintained throughout the years. Her most recent haul-out in June 2023 included a comprehensive survey at the request of her insurer, fresh bottom paint plus new external and engine zincs. Weighing in at 29,000 lbs, she is solid and ready to cruise.

Powered by a reliable 120hp Ford Lehman diesel engine with 2,153 hours indicated, Liberty is designed for efficiency and ease of operation. The engine room is exceptionally well-equipped, featuring dual Racor fuel filters, dual Balmar 135Amp alternators, and a 4-blade bronze propeller for smooth sailing. The Lehman injector pump was rebuilt in 2018. The transmission was rebuilt in 2010, adding to her longevity. Additionally, the dual fuel tanks provide approximately 300 gallons of capacity, ensuring extended cruising range, while the two water tanks hold around 150 gallons, and the black water tank holds about 40 gallons. Both fuel tanks were completely polished in 2022 and where then filled with 260 gallons of fresh diesel with Biobor added. Safety is a priority with a Halon fire extinguisher installed over the engine and three bilge pumps ready to protect your journey. The Xantrax Freedom Marine 30 charger/inverter and Torrid 17 gallon domestic hot water system, powered by shore 120V, engine exchange, or Webasto diesel hydronic heater, add modern conveniences to your voyages. The Webasto also provides hydronic heat to all of the living compartments of Liberty. The vessel's power system is robust, with three Group 27 wet cell batteries for engine start, a house battery bank of ten 6-volt GC wet cells, and two Group 31 wet cell batteries dedicated to the stern thruster.

Liberty's navigation and helm stations are outfitted with state-of-the-art electronics, all of which have been replaced or upgraded over the last 24 years. The lower helm features a Simrad NSS-9 chartplotter/depth sounder, Furuno radar, ComNav 1420 autopilot, Garmin fishfinder, and a variety of essential controls and instruments, including Sidepower bow and stern thruster controls for exceptional maneuverability, Tigress windlass control, and dual Icom VHF radios. A suite of convenience electronics, such as the RogueWave mast-mounted internet antenna, cellular amplifier, and a Samsung 25" TV with a mast mounted antenna, ensures entertainment and connectivity wherever you go. The upper helm is similarly well-equipped, with a Simrad NSS-7 chartplotter, ComNav autopilot, Garmin GPS, Garmin Depth Sounder, and more, all housed beneath a protective bimini and cockpit cover. The versatile folding mast, equipped with radar, cellular, internet, TV antennas, and lighting, adds further flexibility for docking and storage.

With an extensive ground tackle setup that includes a 44 lb Bruce anchor with 300 ft of 5/16 G4 chain as the primary, a 35 lb Delta anchor with additional chain and rode as the secondary, and a spare Danforth anchor mounted on the flybridge rail. The Tigress windlass, complete with foot controls, remote controls, and controls at both helm stations, ensures effortless anchoring.

Inside, Liberty's spacious and comfortable interior layout is ideal for extended cruising or liveaboard life. The well-appointed galley comes with a Magic Chef propane 3-burner stove with oven, an Isotherm refrigerator/freezer (new in 2012), a double sink with a new Moen faucet (2022), microwave, and toaster oven, making meal preparation a breeze. The head features an electric flush toilet head connected to a custom stainless steel holding tank, a lavatory, and a tub/shower with a new faucet, providing all the comforts of home. The forward stateroom offers a cozy retreat with a standard double mattress and ample storage. The second stateroom is perfect for guests or additional storage and the salon is warm and inviting.
