1997 Jamco 3 Horse Trailer with Living Quarters

This custom-built 1997 Jamco 3 Horse Trailer offers versatility, durability, and comfort. Originally designed as a 7’6” 3-horse trailer with a 10’ mid tack and living quarters equipped with a toilet, it was reconfigured by the factory in 2003. The modifications included adding a bathroom with a shower, reducing the mid tack to 6’, creating a pass-through to the bath, and extending the living quarters to an 11’ short wall. The mid tack can also be emptied to accommodate a fourth horse when needed. Measuring 39 feet overall with a 31-foot flat area, the trailer is built with full wall 2x6 aluminum planking and rides on dual 8,000-pound Dexter axles with a gross weight of 16,000 pounds. It includes a 6,500 kW Onan propane generator, mangers, ramp, living quarters pass-through door, and a well-thought-out layout. It will need a new AC unit and awning, and though the roof has been kept sealed, it could benefit from a reseal. A clean and functional trailer with plenty of life left for both horses and riders.
