1900 Proteus Shipwreck Solid Brass Bell
This authentic solid bronze/brass bell was recovered from the shipwreck of the Proteus, which was built in 1900 and sank in 1918 off the coast of North Carolina. Recovered in 2003 and weighing approximately 500 pounds, it is a one-of-a-kind maritime artifact. The bell remains all original, including the clapper, and offers historical significance and display presence for collectors, museums, and maritime enthusiasts.
