Description

For sale 1986 M998 Humvee with complete H1 interior package! 12,600 miles since rebuild. It starts right up and runs great. This Humvee is unique and special. A P400 long block engine was purchased new from AVA systems. The P400 is equipped with a larger intercooler and turbo over the stock turbo, The P400 was the beast in the 6.5 world. Some of the main highlights of them were.

1. Has a full main stud girdle. (like duramax)

2. Forged/billet crankshaft. (like duramax)

3. Stronger metal pour at the foundry.

4. Hardened valve seat inserts in heads with improved cooling passages.
It is equipped with the 4L85 GM 4 speed automatic with over drive. Most Humvees sold only a 3 speed transmission , making freeway driving slow. With the over drive , this Humvee cruises at 80mph on the freeway no problem.
The interior package was installed by ADVANCED VEHICLES ASSEMBLY at the same factory that built them for AM General.
