Owner’s Notes
This rare 1932 Plymouth
Convertible Sedan is an exceptional piece of automotive history, with only 20
of the 690 two-door examples originally built by Plymouth known to survive.
Introduced in 1932 as part of Chrysler Corporation's convertible sedan lineup,
this distinctive body style was produced for only a short time, making this a
particularly special find for collectors and enthusiasts.
Under the hood, this
Plymouth has been upgraded with a 1969 Cadillac 472ci V8 engine featuring an
MTS camshaft, Harland Sharp roller rockers, and custom Smith Brothers pushrods.
Power is delivered through a GM 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. The chassis
features Kugel independent front suspension with coil-overs and a 1968 Jaguar
independent rear suspension with a Jaguar differential, 3.42 gears, and Auburn
positraction. Wilwood four-wheel power disc brakes provide modern stopping
performance.
Combining rare prewar
Plymouth styling with a powerful Cadillac V8 and extensively upgraded
suspension and braking systems, this unique convertible sedan offers a
distinctive blend of vintage character and modern performance. With its limited
production history and rarity, it stands out as a remarkable classic for the
serious collector or enthusiast.
