Owner’s Description
1939 Ford Tudor Sedan with
its original steel body sitting on an aftermarket chassis. The body is solid
and retains an older paint finish that is ready for repainting. The chassis
features a Mustang II front suspension with tubular A-arms, coil-overs, power
steering, and four-wheel disc brakes. The rear is equipped with a 4-link
suspension, coil-overs, and a 1978 Granada rear axle with 3.80 gears.
Power comes from a
Jasper-rebuilt 1953 Mercury 255 Flathead V8 with hardened valve seats and
guides, upgraded with a Roadrunner Engineering Weiand 142 blower kit, 650 CFM
Holley 4-barrel carburetor, Mallory electronic distributor, and MSD 6AL
ignition. It is paired with a 1970s AOD automatic transmission and Lokar
shifter. The interior has been custom finished with a custom headliner, all new
gauges, and a GPS speedometer. This car runs excellent, drives very well, and
is a pleasure on the road. The only noted issue is a slight drip from the front
engine seal.
