Owner’s Notes

This 1947 Dodge Power Wagon is a mostly original example of one of America's most iconic post-war utility trucks. The owner has had it for 30 years, and it retains its original rugged character, classic styling, and legendary 4WD capability. It is powered by a dependable flathead six-cylinder gasoline engine paired with a manual transmission and 4-wheel-drive drivetrain. The truck runs and drives and features a newly refurbished bench seat, providing added comfort. Only a few items have been changed from original, including the bench seat, air cleaner, and gas tank. Otherwise, this Power Wagon remains largely original and offers an authentic look at a classic workhorse from the post-war era. A rare opportunity to own a piece of American automotive history with 30 years of ownership behind it. Whether for a collection, restoration project, shows, parades, ranch use, or simply enjoying an authentic vintage 4WD truck, this 1947 Dodge Power Wagon has plenty of character and history.
