“This 1951 Chevrolet Deluxe Sport Coupe is a stunning ground-up, frame-off restoration with only 219 miles driven since completion. Built with performance and drivability in mind, the body sits on a 1980s Buick Grand National frame and is powered by a Chevrolet 468 big block V8 paired with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission and a shortened rear end with 3.73 gears. The drivetrain was professionally built by UTE Racing of Colorado. Virtually everything on the car is new, including the glass, chrome, hardware, and countless restoration components. The rear fender wells have been professionally tubbed, and the chassis features four-wheel disc brakes for modern stopping power. The car runs, drives, and performs exactly as it should, combining classic 1950s styling with serious big-block performance. The paint presents beautifully with only a small paint crack in one area. This is a high-quality custom build that offers the appearance of a freshly restored show car with the reliability and performance of a modernized street machine.”
