“This 1978 Chevrolet Nova Custom has been extensively upgraded and is powered by a professionally built 350 V8, bored .030 over and equipped with Speed-Pro 10.1:1 flattop pistons, stock rods, brass freeze plugs, new cam bearings, stock roller lifters, Mahle chrome-moly rings, and a polished crankshaft. The heads and block have been decked .010, with new valves, seals, and springs rated for .550 lift, along with Comp 1.5 roller rockers and a triple-angle valve job. Supporting upgrades include a Quick Fuel Technology 650 CFM electric-choke carburetor, Melling high-volume oil pump, new water pump, new intake, ARP head bolts, Fel-Pro gasket set with one-piece oil pan gasket, and new ceramic-coated mid-length headers. The car features Dakota Digital electronic gauges, new carpet, seats, and dash, plus working A/C and heat. Exterior and performance upgrades include American Racing wheels, BF Goodrich tires, a heavy-duty radiator with dual fans, re-chromed bumper, radio, and a Flowmaster exhaust system.
