Body is is pretty good condition, just
a little rust over the rear wheel, nothing that some nice fender flares
wouldn’t take care of, it’s what I would do if I were keeping it, and a larger
dent on the rear side of the bed, I think you can see it in the photos.
Replacing the bed is always an option, I had found a bed for $1500, which I
thought was reasonable.
Truck will make a great play or work or
both, truck for somebody who is looking for something strong, reliable, and
fun. Would trust it to go anywhere.
So if you’re looking for a truck that
is dependable, and fun to drive, at a good price, this just might be what your
looking for.
I had the Dodge dealer run the vin and
they gave me a print out of everything the truck had on it when it rolled off
the assembly line, fun to see it all, and that list is included.
I just bought this last month, saw it
on Facebook and drove to Denver Colorado in my Prius V to check it out. The
seller gave me a test drive on a deserted road where he knew it was safe, not
really sure about the ‘safe’, part, turned it up to 3, with 4 & 5 to go,
and took it up to 120mph, in not much more than a heartbeat, pegging the
speedometer, needless to say, I was impressed. They were expecting a snow storm
and I didn’t want to have to buy chains for those massive 37 inch tires. We agreed
on the price and I made the deal, rented a tow dolly from U-Haul, and towed the
Prius back to Texas with my new truck, about a 12 hour drive as I remember, no
problems at all, actually I kept forgetting the Prius was behind me, the truck
didn’t notice, it’s a beast.
I’m selling it because I thought all
the engine upgrades, would out weighed the 8 inch lift, that I could deal with
the lift, but simply, I can’t, just too old I guess. I’ll be 76 this year, have
some serious health issues, and I don’t think my health will be improving.
Carrying a step stool to get in and out, is just not practical for me, other
than that, I love driving it, and I love the sound of that turbo when it spools
up, it’s got a great exhaust, sounds great and powerful, and it’s loud, and the
raw power under the hood is awesome.
Come see it in person, can’t wait for
you to see it and to give you a test drive.
Clean Texas title in hand.
