“Ford Transit 150 with the 3.7 Liter V6. Mid roof custom
build by a true craftsman. 121K miles. Easy to drive. Fits in normal parking
places. Awesome vehicle for vanlife, with tons more potential. Awesome for
carrying mountain bikes. Easily get 3-4 bikes under the bed. Currently have
hooks under the bed to hold handlebars. I have large heavy-duty slides if you
want to build out a tray as well.
Electrical: Renogy 200-watt Solar, 2000W inverter, DC to DC
battery charger as an alternator, Various lighting, 54 WT cooler/freezer (12v),
10-speed Maxx air fan.
Plumbing/heating: 16 gallons freshwater tank for sink and
garage hose, water purifier, 5-gallon grey tank, 11 lb. propane tank feeds 2
burner stove.
Vehicle: Wool insulation, kilmat sound deadening, vinyl flooring,
5″ gel mattress full-size, custom cabinets with slow close drawers, Natural gas,
and Carbon Monoxide sensors.
No vehicle issues! Some exterior cosmetic damage (see pics
passenger side). Van conve No short-cuts. Inside height is 5’10”.
Things I would add are portable hot water heaters. Shore
