“This 1986 Chevrolet Suburban K10 is a solid project with great bones and extensive recent mechanical work. It spent 22 years parked under a carport in Southern California, helping preserve the body, and has since been refreshed with a new 4 barrel Rochester carb, new tie rod ends, axle seals, bushings, rear end seals, transmission seals, and new rubber components on the door and windows. It has new leaf springs front and rear, as well as factory skid plates on the gas tank and transfer case. The heater core has also been recently replaced. An upgraded radio has been installed, as well as a new wiper motor. It has been driven on three 2,200-mile trips, showing it is mechanically sound and roadworthy. The truck is equipped with a new 7-pin hitch and electric brake setup, making it ready for towing. Interior-wise, it will need attention—the seats are solid but will need new upholstery, along with a headliner and dash. The tires have approximately 5,000 miles on them and the vehicle is equipped with new lock-out hubs. Overall, this is a strong-running Suburban with a great foundation, ready to be finished to your liking.”
