One of 530 produced for Hertz in 2006 to celebrate 40 years since Hertz got together with Shelby to build the first Mustang rent a cars.
After the run, Shelby bought back several of the cars and refurbished them for use at the factory in Las Vegas.
One of those cars was set aside for Carroll Shelby and his wife to use whenever they were in town.
This is that car.
Documented from day one with Carfax and maintenance records and photographs.
At the time the car was turned back to Shelby America the GT500 wheels and Goodyear tires replaced the original wheels and tires.
This is the only car to have those wheels on it from the factory.
New Michelin Pilot tires just replaced the originals from 2008.
