Owner’s Description

“Pristine military Humvee from California. Rust free. Excellent condition. Clean title from South Carolina (on road). Reworked by VSE in 2014. Drove out and picked it up on my gooseneck. All LED lights. I replaced rear view mirrors, wiper blades, sun visors, fuel fill surround, air filter, oil filter, oil, geared hub oil, differential oil, transfer case oil, etc. All fluids were spotless. I took great pains to locate and purchase brand new BFG Baja tires (tires have current date codes). 24 bolt rims have bead locks and run flats inside. Also purchased keyed ignition switch to prevent theft. BTW: These are completely emp proof and cannot be shut down. Less than 5,000 miles total. If you do your research, you can easily deduce you want a machine AFTER 1999 when GEP took over and redesigned the engine to eliminate all of GM's flaws. GEP is a subsidiary of AM General, the vehicle manufacturer. Also of note are the faults from the Turbo units of all ages. This unit has the GEP optimizer 6500 engine without the turbo. These are the reasons I sought this model for months on end... Note: any variant of the HMMWV (Humvee) can be made from this unit (i.e. Ambulance, slantback, four door hardtop or soft top, etc.) Buy the parts of your choice and bolt them on...”
