Sellers Notes: I’ve had physical possession of the car since my father died and have run out of funds by getting it pretty much up to snuff, I’ve also paid a lawyer to include a thorough vehicle title nationwide estate search. Which came up nil.

 

Mercedes dealership my father had used to purchase previous Benz’s, Jags, Range Rovers, etc could not find exactly which company he’d financed this vehicle, which would allow my family to quickly obtain title from the State of Illinois. 

 

The solution to gain “assurity” of ownership outside of the physical possession of the vehicle is to pay a bonding company 1-10% of the perceived value in exchange for a “Surety Bond,” which is a certificate that can be taken to any State to obtain title.

 

 The solution is the buyer going to any Vehicle Bonding Company-as or after they transfer funds to me and grab the keys- and taking that Surety Bond to the state to gain title. We can do this at the Bonding Agent’s office, Secretary of State (basically the DMV in Illinois) or in front of Police HQ
