Owner’s Notes

“Up for sale is a 1971 Volkswagen Type II Riviera Camper Van, a classic and highly collectible vintage RV with great character and history. This camper was previously purchased at the Mecum Las Vegas auction in 2021 for $60,000, and it remains a solid example of these iconic vans that are getting harder to find. It offers the timeless Riviera camper layout and classic VW styling that make these so popular for shows, cruising, or weekend getaways. The van is in good overall condition, but there are a few items to note. The rear seat has some scratches from a dog, the driver’s door currently does not open from the inside (opens from the exterior), and there is some rust/damage on the rear driver’s side from a past brake fluid leak. This is a great opportunity to own a vintage VW camper with strong value and plenty of potential. Whether you keep it as-is or take it to the next level, it’s a fun and unique classic that stands out anywhere it goes.”
