This 1999 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning is an exceptionally preserved, showroom-quality example with only 8,045 original miles. 100% stock, garage kept and meticulously cared for, this first-year second-generation Lightning is one of just 4,000 produced for 1999 and one of 1,601 finished in black. Under the hood is the legendary SVT-engineered supercharged 5.4L V8, producing 360 horsepower at 4,750 rpm and 440 lb-ft of torque at 3,250 rpm. The engine features an Eaton Gen IV Roots-type supercharger, dual-port 57mm throttle body, water-to-air intercooler, aluminum 2-valve cylinder heads, and an 8.4:1 compression ratio designed for forced induction. Stopping power comes from a substantial four-wheel disc brake system with 12.1-inch vented front rotors and twin-piston calipers, along with 13.1-inch vented rear rotors and single-piston calipers. With its extremely low original mileage, desirable black finish, limited production, and supercharged SVT performance, this Lightning represents a remarkable example of Ford's iconic performance pickup.
