This 1971 Cutlass is powered by the famous Rocket 350 V-8 and with 260 hp it is very nimble indeed. It has a heavy duty 3 speed automatic transmission (rebuilt) and drives like a dream. It has 173,200 original miles and is always ready on a moment’s notice for any short or long distance trip to any destination in North America.

This is an original number matching vehicle that was repainted in its original code 26 Viking Blue. It was restored over a nine-year period, 2007-2016. It has a razor-sharp body. No Accidents! The interior was replaced in a blue vinyl of superb quality. A new top with a rear glass window was also installed. This is a drop dead gorgeous vehicle.

Further upgrades in 2015 include replacing the front drum brakes with disc and replacing the standard steel wheels with rally rims and new B F Goodrich T/A Radial tires (both were options in 1971).

There were only 627 of this convertible model imported into Canada for the 1971 model year and it has been estimated by the appraiser that fewer than 10% are still in service in Canada. This is a rare vehicle which will continue to appreciate and is a sound investment.

All records of previous owners are in hand. An August 2016 Accredited Appraisal states a market value of $ 37,500 US. It is insured with Hagerty Ins. at an agreed value of $37,500. The car is located on Vancouver Island only two hours north of the Washington State Border. No Duty if imported into USA from Canada due to Free Trade.
