The standout feature of this Cougar is its solar system, including 6 x 250-watt solar panels, a Renogy Solar Controller, and Renogy 5000-watt inverter, paired with 2 Lithium Ion 200 Amp Hour batteries (a $3,200 upgrade). This setup allows the fifth wheel to run almost entirely on solar power, even through the night, with enough energy to power utilities like the coffee maker, microwave, and hair dryer simultaneously. This unit also has a new roof, installed November 2024.
