Owner’s Description

“Excellent condition. 1956 FORD THUNDERBIRD, 312 V8 Engine. Fordomatic Transmission, Radio, Heater, Engine Dress Up Kit, Porthole Top and Soft Top. The car had a complete body-on restoration with a little over 2,000 miles since restoration. The speedometer was reset to 0 in the restoration. I believe it had about 65,000 miles on the car when it was restored. The restoration was done including rebuilding the engine, transmission, front suspension, etc. Repaint was done in 2017. I had a new AM/FM radio professionally installed in the car that looks very similar to the original radio and still has the original knobs. The installation did not require any modifications to the dash. I have always kept up with any needed maintenance. Just installed a new battery about three months ago. I had four new wide whitewall radial tires and a new radiator installed. There is a crack in the driver’s side glass, but I have new glass that goes with the car. New runners to go with the car as well. This car was originally from California, appears to have factory undercoating, and has always been stored inside since I have owned the car. The condition appears to be excellent with red and white interior. According to Old Cars Price Guide a number one 1956 Thunderbird with these accessories and equipment is valued at $68,000 and a number two is valued at $50,000. I believe this car is probably better than a number two but not as good as a number one. The car is located in Nevada, Texas 75173 about 25 miles east of Dallas, Texas.”
