Power comes from a strong 371 cubic inch engine with approximately 1,000 miles since rebuild, fed by a 4-barrel carburetor and breathing through dual exhaust for a deep, period-correct tone. The ignition system has been fully refreshed with a fresh tune-up including new spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, and PerTronix electronic ignition for improved reliability and drivability. The charging system has been updated with a rebuilt generator and new voltage regulator, ensuring consistent electrical performance. The fuel system has been completely renewed from tank to carburetor, including a new gas tank, filler neck, sending unit, fuel line, and fuel pump, eliminating old-system concerns. Braking has been thoroughly rebuilt for safe cruising with new brake shoes, machined drums, new wheel cylinders, fresh flex hoses, and a rebuilt master cylinder with power brake booster. The suspension and ride quality are improved with four new shocks, while steering has been tightened up with new power steering hoses.
