1966 Chevrolet El Camino for Sale in Vista, CA 92084

1966 El Camino Partial restoration 6 years ago. Replaced the original numbers matching 283 and Powerglide with a rebuilt 396 cu. in. 325 hp. Turbo 400 3 speed automatic trans. I still have the original engine and trans and can be included with the sale.

The original pointed distributor, which I still have, was replaced with an HEI system. 2 in. Hooker headers with 2 1/2 in exhaust system, Power steering, Power front disc brake conversion with rear drum brakes Has American racing wheels 15x8. After market Mark IV air conditioning under dash unit. The interior was redone with new naugihide seat covers, head liner, carpet, door panels. New chrome pieces on dash, and dash cover. Radio was replaced with an AM/FM period correct replacement. New aluminum radiator, (I have the old radiator with the original Harrison top and bottom, tanks, and mounting brackets.) When I bought the truck, it had the original dealer installed under dash air conditioning unit. (I still have it and it is also included.)

This truck has been my very reliable daily driver for the last 6 years. Front tires rub inner fender wells on sharp turns and hard bumps. There is a small dent on the right front and a small crack above the wheel well (see photo).
