Owner’s Notes: This 1966 Mercury Comet Caliente Convertible is a classic with plenty of potential, offering enjoyable driving and an excellent opportunity for someone to make it their own. The seller originally purchased it with plans to restore it, but a busy lifestyle kept those plans from coming to fruition. It runs and drives well, with brand-new rear shocks and leaf springs already installed. The engine and transmission are believed to be original, although this has not been confirmed, and paperwork documenting work performed on both is included in the sale. The windows occasionally stick. This car is ready for someone to give it the attention it deserves and bring out even more of its classic appeal.
