try to be honest in every way. It is a perfect daily driver. I have never been
happier with a classic truck. The engine rumble puts a smile on my face every
time I start it. All the amenities that make a Classic Car comfortable and
exciting to drive are present. Hard to find a better daily driver that gets
attention wherever you go. If I wasn’t getting all my leg joints replaced, I
would never sell it.

I
received the truck from my son in 2013. His father-in-law gave him the truck in
his will. The father-in-law completed the engine and electronic shifting
automatic transmission. The engine was stated to produce 350 horsepower. Engine
and transmission were rebuilt in 2012. Less than 6000 miles on rebuild, tires,
and custom rims. A former student of mine completed painting in 2015. Paint was
completed at my barn. Sanded, primed, and two stage paint. Paint is Ochre and
brown. Very popular color in 1968. Rust was cut out and new metal was welded
in. The interior cab metal is painted ochre to match exterior. Dual tanks were
rewelded and new fuel level sender installed in driver side tank. Only left
tank used in the last 11 years. Rust remains on the bottom of the door jam and
a spot on tail gate. Garage stored. Paint still shines and gets thumbs up after
11 years.

observation:
All
siding tin and insignias are original. There are a few small rock chips in the
front window. The rest of the glass is fine. The interior looks good but needs
to be finished. Original gauge cluster needs to be replaced. Tachometer and gas
gauge work on original gauge cluster. Temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge,
speedometer, and voltmeter were aftermarket additions in 2015. The rest of the interior,
while looking ok, could be completed by owner.
