“This 1949 Chevrolet Stepside Pickup is a true custom-built beast, combining classic style with extreme performance. It features a 540 Merlin big block paired with an automatic transmission, rated for an astounding 3,000 horsepower. Equipped with a trans brake, stall converter, and an 871 blower from The Blower Shop, this truck was built to turn heads and dominate the strip. It has been through a full rotisserie restoration and includes  Strange 2 way adjustable shocks, manual rack and pinion steering, four-wheel disc brakes, a 6-inch chopped top, safety glass windshield, and a removable steering wheel. Shaved door handles and Weld Racing wheels (5x15 front, 13.5x15 rear) give it a sleek, aggressive look. Out back, it’s built with a 9-inch Strange housing, 4.30 gears, Strange 31-spline axles, and ladder bars with new 2-way adjustable overhead shocks. Cooling is handled by a new 42-inch 4-core radiator with dual fans and a new water pump. Under the hood, it boasts Dart heads, flat top pistons, stud girdles, an 800 lift roller cam, roller rockers, double roller timing chain, 750 Demon carbs, ceramic 2¼-inch headers, 3-inch stainless exhaust, and a vacuum pump with a new blower belt. Inside, it’s fitted with five-strap seatbelts, tach and rev limiter on both sides, and race-ready comfort. Comes with an extra 9-inch Strange housing and gear, along with additional blower pulleys.
