1991 Eagle Class A Diesel RV for sale in Fort Angeles, WA

BELGIUM-BUILT TORSION BAR COACH

1991 Eagle 40—Award winning Classic Eagle Conversion, Detroit Diesel 8V92 Turbo, Allison Automatic, 33,000 Miles, 300-gallon diesel, soft water, solid walnut cabinets; interior, marine Vacu-flush toilet, lighted, cedar-lined closets, Crystal chandelier and sconces. Recent replacement of batteries and tires.

CONVERSION NOTES

Coach was built to the high standards of Marine Engineering with Marine emphasis used in electrical and heating requirements. Additional high tech engineering was utilized in the purification system for potable water. (never a need for bottled water, even in Mexico). During conversion, the bus roof was raised 10” and all original wiring and fuses were replaced with new wire (no splices) and automatically re-setting circuit breakers and relays. Also added were two separate 2500 watt Trace Inverters with two individual 100 Amp chargers and Eight 6-volt Glass-Mat high capacity batteries. Great effort was taken in preparing the coach to be painted “black.” All skins and windows were replaced and any imperfections were meticulously removed. Extremely shiny “Sikkens” paint was applied. A professional Portrait Painter hand-painted mural (Northwest outdoor scenes with Eagles) on both sides, the rear and above the windshield of the coach. This took approximately 5 months to complete. Pin-striping was hand done by “show-car” artist Mitch Kim. The original coach bumpers were replaced with “custom fabricated” chrome-plated steel and feature fog lights and ingenious curb lights and headlights developed by General Motors. Four bright “marine docking Spot Lights,” two located on each side of the coach, provide visibility and, most importantly, security at campsites. (Detailed conversion specs available).

DRIVERS COMPARTMENT & ENTRY

Entry to the Coach is via a plush “black” carpeted circular staircase. The driver’s compartment features side-by-side 6-way seats, tilt; telescoping wheel and cruise control, plus back-up camera w/sound, CB radio and AM/FM, cassette, 5-CD player; surround sound. The chrome side-view mirrors are heated and remote-controlled.

LIVING AREA

Interior living space was compartmentalized for comfort. All living spaces (driver compartment, living room, kitchen, bath and bedroom) feature individual thermostatically-controlled heat and cooling.

Floors and walls are heated by Webasto diesel hot water boiler, marine generator and diesel engine. Supplemental 110 electric heat is also in walls. Basement storage compartments are also heated. The kitchen features ¾” solid oak hardwood floor, Corian Counter tops & large floating dinette nook, Insta-Hot water dispenser, built-in u-Line ice maker, Norcold AC/DC Refrigerator/Freezer, Gaggeneau propane cook top, Kenmore Microwave, garbage disposal, trash compactor and apartment-size stacked washer/dryer (220V). The bedroom has two “unique” entries. One, by the circular side-aisle via the hallway and the other thru a separate entry thru the bathroom/shower/dressing area, which has solid walnut pocket doors for privacy. The shower has a visual, numerical temperature-control and an electrically-operated opening Skylight for steam evacuation. There also is a 2’X4’ electrically operated “open air” skylight, with hand-operated darkening closure panel, above the Queen bed.

FILTERED PRESURIZATION SYSTEM

An electrically controlled squirrel-cage filtered fan, located in the basement, is used to pressurize the coach to evacuate odor and hot air and prevent dust infusion, which may have accumulated while the coach was parked. This assists the air conditioners to get a head start in cooling when first returning to

the coach.

This is a unique one-of-kind collector Coach in Immaculate condition!
