“For sale is a unique 1998 Terex RT130 Crane that combines both crane and man lift capabilities in one machine. This unit is a rare find, previously owned by the military and used at a museum for tasks such as moving monuments and changing light bulbs. It has never been worked hard, which is why it has such low hours for its age. The RT130 is the predecessor to the Terex RT230 and offers exceptional performance with a 30-ton lift capacity. This crane features a 95-foot maximum main boom length, and its synchronized boom allows for smooth and efficient operation. It comes equipped with a single winch, four outriggers, and a number of safety features including anti-two block, swing lock, and a load moment indicator for precise control. The hook block, with three sheaves, has a 30-ton capacity, and there’s counterweight for additional stability. In terms of comfort and functionality, the RT130 has a flat deck design and a heated and air-conditioned interior (in good condition). An emergency stop system is also included for added safety. Powered by a Cummins engine and a powershift transmission, this machine offers three forward speeds and three reverse speeds, with a maximum travel speed of 5 mph. It’s 4WD, and features coordinated steering for ease of maneuverability. This machine is perfect for specialized lifting tasks and is in excellent condition for its age.
