This 1909 Mitchell Model K is one of only four known to exist today.  It has a French Gray exterior with black fenders and a red running gear with burgundy leather interior.  This rare classic has a 4 cylinder, 30hp engine with both the crank start and an electric start.  Seller spent $25,000 on the engine rebuild after purchasing car and it has only been driven less than 5 miles since.

 

This Model K is all original, has the numbers matching, records and receipts including the build sheets, and owner history.  History shows the original owner in Turtle Lake, ND.  The previous owner had the car given to him in 1918 and has a long history in Washington DC entertaining politicians and dignitaries.  The current owner bought the car in 2006.

 

The original brass is beautiful, with Mitchell script on headlights and other parts. The car comes with an extra rear axle and a few other various parts. The tires are in good shape.  The car has had one reupholster and two repaints in its life.

 

This extremely rare classic has been meticulously maintained, adult owned and garage kept.  It needs to get out, be admired by many and driven as it was for many years.
